Engine
Ford Figo has been launched with 2 engine options; 1196cc DuraTec Petrol and a 1399cc DuraTorq Diesel engine. The Duratorq motor is incredibly responsive at low speeds and hugely economical too which should suit the urban driving conditions ideally. The diesel engine deliver a maximum power of 68 Bhp at 4,000 rpm and a torque of 160 Nm at 2000 rpm while the all new aluminium petrol engine will pump out power of 70 Bhp at 6,250 rpm and a torque of 102 Nm at 4000 rpm. Both engines are coupled by a 5-speed automatic gearbox for smooth movement and deliver excellent mileage. The petrol engine has a mileage of 10.9/15.4 kmpl (city/highway) while the diesel gives a mileage of 14.1/18.5 kmpl (city/highway).
Design And Comfort
The design of Figo largely follows the companies Kinetic Design. Ford Figo brings has a big front air dam below the low grille, sloping roofline and edgy side panels. At the rear Figo it resembles "Fusion" a lot with high mounted vertical tail lamps in D-pillar. Figo's exterior shows off a very youthful character with its modern headlamps, well-sculpted bonnet, an integrated spoiler and the chamfered shape of the window at the rear. Figo completes its exterior look with body-coloured door handles and side mirrors. The side window graphic is executed with a blacked-out B-pillar, an elegant design touch that unifies the side windows into one shape visually. Its wheels are positioned at the four corners of the vehicle with minimal overhang. This gives it a strong and sturdy base. Its modern headlamps, well-sculpted bonnet, an integrated spoiler and the chamfered shape of the window at the rear add to its youthful look.
Interiors
First thing you will notice is that the Figo is the most spacious car in the whole segment. The car can easily seat 5 people with comfort. The interiors are available in two trims; a peppy Coral IP theme and a classy ebony black one. With easily accessible controls on its central stack, Figo helps you concentrate on your driving. From power window buttons and electric adjust mirror, to remote boot opening, Figo packs in everything. The centre console of Ford Figo is silver in matte finish and EXi, ZXi and Titanium variants comes with factory fitted integrated music system with four speakers. The top of the line variant "Titanium" also comes with Remote central locking, driver seat height adjustment and Bluetooth phone interface.
Ride And Handling
The ride is super solid with the good throttle response, comfort and precise steering. The clutch pedal is also smooth in working and the tuning done for Indian users is evident. The Figo handles superbly well in traffic. The transmission is well designed with struts at the front and twist beam at the rear and the suspension set-up has been well tuned fro Indian roads.

Safety
Figo boasts of dual front airbags and Anti-lock Braking System with EBD which enhances car handling and provides a comfortable riding experience. Apart from that it features intelligent central locking, engine immobilizer (PATS) and a 3 point seatbelts for front and rear seats. It has a Rapid Deceleration Warning system that, at speeds greater than 96 kmph, activates the hazard warning lamps and warns trailing drivers about the sudden brakes.
Ford Figo Price, Variants And Color
Figo is available in 4 variants each in petrol and diesel versions; Lxi, EXi, ZXi and Titanium. Prices start from Rs. 3, 58,813 for the petrol Lxi till Rs. 5, 39,370 for the diesel Titanium. The Figo is available in Diamond white, Panther black, Moondust silver, Chill, Sea grey, Squeeze and Colorad red colours.
Ford Figo Mileage
As a dream car for small car owners, Ford Figo provides a mileage of 13-15 kmpl and 15-17 kmpl on its petrol and diesel variants, respectively.
