The Nissan 370Z Touring Coupe AT is powered by a 6 cylinder V engine that has 4 valves on each cylinder which are active through Dual Over Head Camshaft mechanism. The massive 3696 cc engine is built with Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) technology which comprises of a complex rocker arm, driver and output cam assembly. This set up appropriates valve actuation timing and level of opening and this fact would increase the response of the cams to the throttle at acceleration pedal. This in turn results in good performance at low, mid and high rpm range. The engine produces a maximum of 332 bhp and this happens at 7000 rpm. The top end speed of this car would be way far from any other normal cars in India. The maximum torque is 363 Nm and it is produced at 5200 rpm. The mid range speed of this car which it touches in few seconds would be 80-100 km/hr. the top end speed is certainly over 200-220 kms/hr. The automatic transmission version couples the massive power from the engine through a 7 speed gear box which can even be controlled manually.
Design And Comfort:
The A-line of Nissan 370Z speaks to the aerodynamic nature of heart of the car 'the engine'. The fenders grow slightly out of the side of the car giving it a muscled appearance. The head lamp and the tail lamp also appear aggressive. The front and rear ends are fit with spoilers that make the car pierce through opposing wind. The doors are given handle made of a material that appears like aluminum. The car is fully covered with green glasses for protection from UV rays. The wheels are Rays made and carry tires that have a speed rating of up to 270 km/hr.
The interior of the Nissan 370z is built for the sporty drive that is at the body tips once seated in the car. Maximum importance is given to the instrument cluster that indicates the speed, the revolutions per minute and the trip computer. The trip meter or trip computer calculates the mileage at current and average speeds, the distance and time elapsed on each trip, distance to empty and the outside temperature. The front dash board includes storage area for cars that do not have navigation system. The central console has enough storage space and has a cup holder. Bottle holders are also available on the door panels.
The Nissan 370Z AT may go as far as 8 to 11 kms per liter of fuel in normal roads. This mileage largely depends on Indian roads and driving nature.
The Nissan 370Z AT is sold in India in 7 exterior colors and 2 interior color options. Vibrant Red, Diamond Black, Brilliant Silver, Blade Silver, Premium Lemans Blue, Brilliant White Pearl and Black Rose are the color options on exterior body.
