Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) is the third largest tractor company in the world. M&M was established in India in 1945 and started its functions by assembling CKD jeeps, in 1949. It, later on, expanded its business by starting the manufacture of agricultural tractors and light commercial vehicles. With time, the automaker commenced the production of Utility Vehicles (UV) and Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), including Armada and Bolero, respectively. Mahindra Motors India entered the passenger car segment of India in 2005, with the launch of mid-size sedan - Renault Logan.
